I played a pivotal role in creating a design system to unify measurements, handoffs for developers, and best practice usage across the design teams in all branches, serving as the Team Lead for all design template/theme creation. Additionally, I was in charge of researching and implementing the “Best Practices Layout” across templates. In my role, I collaborated with cross-functional teams in sprint planning and design meetings and led and managed design projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timelines were met. I worked closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contributed to critical product design decisions, influencing project direction and quarterly goals. Maintaining design consistency and coherence across digital style guides was another focus area, as I reviewed designers' work to ensure alignment with established guidelines. I also produced both low and high-fidelity mock-ups for design exploration and facilitated presentations to business teams to showcase the latest design concepts and solutions. Furthermore, I led Design Unit Acquisition Testing (UTA) and maintained Quality Assurance (QA) standards, and collaborated closely with head product designers to successfully implement a new editor plug-in and tooltips for our CMS.

I collaborated with smaller departments within HRDI to organize content for their new site and was responsible for maintaining and updating three of their existing websites. Additionally, I assisted in the development process to unify the new site for the department. As part of my role in brand development and management for HRDI, I contributed to strategic marketing development and multiplatform integration across print, email, web, and advertisements. I designed and managed web content tailored to the department’s website and drafted a new web template to cater to the department’s specific needs and enhance user accessibility across campus. Furthermore, I refactored existing frontend HTML/CSS code to improve the overall performance and user experience of the websites.

As a Student Web Assistant, I worked closely with the manager to create new design and structural updates to their current website and was responsible for maintaining and updating the CSUF HRDI website. I collaborated with department leads to create and update content, and I contributed to strategic marketing development and multi-platform integration across print, email, web, app, and social media channels.
